Setting Application Properties
Mira provides commands for changing the properties of various aspects of the application, its commands, measurements, and packages. Many properties used for image display, measurement, and plotting have both default and local values you can tailor to a specific Image Window.
Properties in the following table apply to Image Windows and use both default settings and local settings.
Default Properties are global in scope and are adopted by each newImage Window when the window is created. Default properties can be saved in Profiles so that particular groups of properties can be easily recalled. The current profile in effect for a particular property is used used when the window is created. These properties are set using commands in theView > Default Properties menus.
Local Properties are values changed after the Image Window is created. They affect all measurements made in the specific window but not other windows that may be open. Their values are taken from the Default Properties and may be changed for each particular window using commands in the View > Local Properties menu for Image Windows. Only the local properties of the top-most window are changed.
