Report Window Menu


When a Report Window is the top-most view, the main menu switches to commands specific to Report Windows. These commands are described in the table below. They are duplicated in the Grid Command Menu.

Menu Commands for Report Windows

File > Save As

Saves the table to a file. You can control which text is copied by using the Multi- select flag. If Multi- select is enabled, highlight the rectangular grid of cells of interest before executing this command.

File > Print Report

Prints the report table.

Edit > Copy

Copies the contents of the table to the Windows Clipboard. To transfer this text to another Windows application, use Edit > Paste in the other application. You can control which text is copied by using the Multi- select flag. If Multi- select is enabled, highlight the rectangular grid of cells of interest before executing this command.

Edit > Multi- select

Enables selection of multiple cells in a rectangular region of the table. If disabled, the Copy and Save commands use the entire table.

View > Grid Properties

Opens the Grid Properties dialog from which you can change window and table properties.

View > Optimize Grid Columns

Optimizes the widths of the columns by removing wasted space. This shrinks the table to its smallest width while showing all content.

View > Clear

Clears the entire table.

Open Table in Excel

Opens an instance of Microsoft Excel and creates an excel worksheet containing the table data.
