Accelerator Keys
Mira contains a number of keyboard shortcuts that operate common or frequently used commands. These are known as "accelerators" because they immediately execute a command without having to open one or more menus. The accelerator keys available depend on the type of View window that is top-most and has the keyboard focus.
These accelerators are used when no view window is open (i.e., there is no displayed image, plot, report, editor, etc.).
Main Accelerators
Ctrl+N |
Executes the New command, which displays the New Document dialog. |
Ctrl+O |
Executes the File > Open command, which displays the Open dialog. |
Ctrl+R |
Opens the General Properties. Here you can set global Properties for working with images and plots, as well as other aspects of the user interface. |
These accelerators work from most windows in Mira.
