Accelerator Keys
Mira contains a number of keyboard shortcuts that operate common or frequently used commands. These are known as "accelerators" because they execute the command without having to resort to finding the command in a menu or elsewhere. As with all Windows applications, the available set of accelerators depends on the type of view (window) that has focus.
These accelerators are used when no view window is open (i.e., there is no displayed image, plot, report, editor, etc.).
Main Accelerators
Ctrl+N |
Executes the New command, which displays the New Document dialog. |
Ctrl+O |
Executes the File > Open command, which displays the Open dialog. |
Ctrl+R |
Opens the Mira Preferences dialog. Here you can set global preferences for working with images and plots, as well as other aspects of the user interface. |
These accelerators work from most windows in Mira.
