Mira Pro x64™ is a native 64-bit application optimized
for working with many or large images by exploiting the memory and
speed advantages of the 64-bit Windows operating system. Using Mira
Pro x64, you can display, plot, process, measure, and analyze large
images, high bit depth images, and large image sets containing such
images. Mira Pro x64 provides an unmatched selection of tools for
utilizing all modes of processing, including interactive GUI-based
commands, batch processing of files, scripted processing, and using
its built-in programming extension language to create scripts for
nearly any purpose. This documentation also applies to the 32-bit
version of Mira Pro x64, known as Mira Pro x32™. These two versions of Mira are
respectively targeted at 64-bit and 32-bit versions of the Windows
operating system. The difference between the programs involves the
differing memory limitations imposed by the operating system. They
are otherwise identical. The topics listed below cover the basics of how to
open an image, create plots, make measurements, and adjust the
display. There are many other examples and short
tutorials dispersed throughout this document. Mira Fundamentals
