Image Arithmetic
The Image Arithmetic command performs various arithmetic operations between an image and a second "operand" image.
The Image Arithmetic command opens from the Image Window > Process > Math menu and button on the Main Toolbar. The "immediate" form, shown first, opens when an image or image set is displayed in the top-most window. The general form can be used to select source images from folders, windows, or by matching templates.

Selects the image to be applied to the Source images. With the Immediate command, the Operand Image must already be opened in an Image Window. |
Operation |
Select the operation to perform from the following options: Add Adds the pixel values of the images. Subtract Subtracts the second image from the first one. Multiply Multiples the pixel values of the two images. Divide Divides the second image into the first one. The result is set to Error Value if the pixel in the second image has a value of 0.0. Blend Blends (interpolates) the two images by interpolating their pixel values at each point. Remainder Computes the remainder of dividing the second image into the first one. The result is set to Error Value if the pixel in the second image has a value of 0.0. |
Error replacement value |
Specifies the value to replace in the pixel when an illegal operation is performed. |
