File Lists
A Mira File List is a text file containing a list of image files that can be opened or processed as a group by selecting only the File List file. The images in a File List can be opened into individual Mira windows or as an Image Set using a check-box option at the bottom of the Open dialog.
If you want to change the file list at some point, you can do that too. For example, you might want to display the images, apply some processing operations to them later, and be able to bring up the same set of images a month from now. Using a File List, you just need to know the file name of the File List. That means that it is also often useful to give a File List a sensible name so you will know in the future, exactly what it contains. Mira File Lists use the file name extension .axf.
