What to Mention on your Tech Support Request

  • What happened? For example: Did the result appear wrong? Did you get an incorrect error message? Did the software stop or freeze? Did the software crash?
  • Short description of the problem.
  • What command or action appears to have caused the problem? If a command, what were some of the parameters that may be relevant?
  • Details about the images or other data that were being used. For example, what are the format, size, data type, file extension, or other properties you think may be relevant.
  • Have you followed the same procedure before, without a problem?
  • Any other details you feel may be important.
